The Netherlands is one of the few European countries willing to send people, accused of genocide activities, back to Rwanda. Other countries are hesitant because of the human right situation in Rwanda. Political opposition is hardly tolerated and many people in The Netherlands accused of genocide are member of the political opposition.

The Dutch immigration service IND accuses Rwandan people living in the Netherlands of genocide activities, without giving any evidence at all. The IND wants them to be tried in Rwanda. There they face trials with manipulated witnesses and biased judges.
